God I laughed all the way through your article. I’ve inherited schadenfreude from my daughter. I have another spider story from a few days ago. I took a load of palm leaves to the dump in my daughter’s 4WD. Later that day in my way home from the shop, I saw a Huntsman up in the corner of the windscreen. Yes, on the inside. I stayed calm and drove all the way home, got out of my car and left the door open so he could escape. I came back and couldn’t find him. I then realised Keeley was picking up 7 dogs tomorrow and if she saw that spider, there’d be an horrific accident for sure. She is terrified of all sorts of spiders. So I grabbed a can of insect spray and filled the car with mist and closed the doors thinking if he was still in the car, he would surely be dead. I’m happy to report he hasn’t been seen again- especially not by Keeley.!
