Expect the pain to be the worst pain you’ve ever experienced. I have a fairly high tolerance for pain but the pain after knee replacements was next level. I had both knees replaced at the same time. In hospital for 5 weeks. Sent home on crutches. 12 months recovery. I hope your single knee replacement goes well and you can enjoy Italy. 🇮🇹
