Election: I’d Rather You Promise the Earth than Denigrate the Opposition
Negative, negative, negative…
Believe it or not, these are leaflets for the Liberal Party. There’s no mention of the Liberal Party or its candidates for the State Election. But thanks to the Liberal Party, I know who the candidates are for the Labor Party — Bart Mellish and Steven Miles for Premier. I’ve met Bart Mellish and he looks nothing like that photo!
And here’s the flip side of those leaflets… still no mention of who the Liberal Party wants me to vote for. I’ve never liked this kind of negativity from politicians. It’s not a good look.
How about telling us some positives about what you can do if elected, instead of simply bashing the opposition?
