Dixit has cards with artwork on them- no words. Each player is dealt 6 cards. The first player chooses one of their cards and tells a story about it. It can be a word, a phrase or a sentence. Each of the other players then has to choose one of their cards that best fits the story. They are then shuffled and laid out in a row and everyone votes on which card they thought belonged to the story. Points are awarded to whoever guesses it correctly. Points are also awarded to players whose cards are chosen. Is that as clear as mud? It’s a great game with many expansion packs and the artwork is weird and wonderful!
