Brilliantly written Lisa. Not everyone has a beautiful close relationship with their mother. Out of my six children, Keeley and I would be the closest. I am close with Rowan but he lives overseas. The other four don’t really care about me in the same way Keeley and Rowan do. But they did all send me happy Mother’s Day texts.
