Bedbugs are the WORST! My daughter was eaten in a London hotel. I had an infestation of them in my home. I chucked the bed and the mattress out of the window and steamed every inch of the room. Washed and heat dried everything at a commercial laundry. A lot of work and $$ but I won the battle.
