As you have discovered. AI detectors are not gods. They almost always disagree vehemently. I believe I am better at detecting AI written material than the AI detectors. Yes, I am human lol. But I will go back and read previous stories written by that writer to see if it's the same style she/he usually writes. I think that's a much better indicator of an AI-assisted story.
