As a traveller, I don’t see why you wouldn’t get vaccinated. I get cholera, typhoid, malaria etc vaccinations before I travel as well as the ordinary ones. I have a natural immunity to smallpox, chickenpox, measles and rubella so I don’t need to get those. I get a flu jab every year- I haven’t had the flu since 1988! But I’ve only had flu vaccines since 2005 when I started my job visiting schools.
