Are you good at recognising faces?
Nope I’m not good at all. At trivia it’s the one type of question that I never guess correctly. In actual fact, I rarely guess at all. I’m hopeless at faces even actors I know well. But I thought it was just one of my weaknesses. We can’t be good at everything now can we? I’m much better at recognising voices. Turns out I have prosopagnosia. This was made abundantly clear to me last week at the supermarket. This woman came up to me and smiled. I thought I must know her from somewhere but couldn’t think where. You are not going to believe me when I tell you it was my own daughter Keeley. I wasn’t expecting to see her at the shops so I wasn’t mentally prepared. She was wearing all black so she didn’t look like her at all. I couldn’t believe I couldn’t recognise her!
