A fun story. The best compliment I received was when I was 30 and had lost weight. My husband either didn’t notice or didn’t bother commenting but the husband of a friend said “wow, you look good in shorts”. I don’t think i said anything. We were at a barbecue. It must have meant a lot to me because I’ve remembered it all these years later.
