Fuck off!

But if I reply with that comment, they’ll know it’s a real phone number or email address so I just ignore them. But geez, it’s hard. I get at least one attempted scam every day. Some are easier to spot than others. Just today I received an email:

Email scams

“Hi Adrienne,

I’m sorry to bother you again but did you receive my previous email? It’s regarding a quick mutually beneficial partnership proposal I will like to share with you, concerning the recovery of a significantly valuable estate belonging to my late client, a successful Australian stock trader, Mr. Oliver Beaumont, who unfortunately along with his entire household passed away due to complications from COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic.

I’m reaching out to you because you both share the same family name and nationality, and I will share my proposal with you if you permit me.

I hope to hear back from you soon so I can share more information about myself and the subject matter, which I guarantee you is an incredible opportunity.

While I can easily translate to your language, English is my preferred language so if you speak English please let me know
